A lot has been happening over the last week and I have a lot more that I really need to document! The new server is up and running live and for anonymous users I think I've actually cracked everything although there may still be a few niggles. Some of the security factors keep sticking their head up such as SELinux blocking my php port after I'd rebooted the machine to check. Switching off SELinux was the short term fix, but now I have sorted the settings and an automatic reboot now brings everything back live. Something that actually the old server has a problem with. I can now look at a network based power service to trigger a reboot while away.

Medically I've had a few appointments and currently have an ECG monitor fitted which I will drop back to Worcester Royal this afternoon. At least today my heart is in it's worst mode so hopefully that will help getting a better diagnosis rather than the vague ones I've been working with for a number of years. The drive back from Worcester will be via the garage at Pershore and I can bring a second load of stuff back to a new garage in Evesham. This one is easy walking distance which will help, but costs 10% more than the existing one. At least I can walk to this one rather than having to get the car out. Which will be fun on the 11th since there is a closure notice on the only access to the housing complex for that week, and NO attempt to sort access for the various care services that daily visit many of my fellow tenants! Just another job I've somehow picked up the batton for. A bit like Wednesday when I was finally due to have a new hot water tank fitted but which was cancelled as the contractor did not have the right one to fit. As a result I as free to attend an open meeting on the Rooftop Repairs Service contract which needs to be renewed next year. I was the only resident to attend! And they need residents on the scrutiny panel so the current selection list is a little short ...

Time for morning exercise then I need to create a list of things I need to add to the TODO list ... in particular Bitweaver Bugs
