If it's not one thing it's another. Broadband has been out in Evesham for 4 days finally being restored yesterday. At least I should now see some automatic compensation, but having been without broadband for 6 days in the last three weeks I feel that 2 days compension is just a con? While the fibre was down I was using the phone's hotspot to at least stay in touch, but that can't restore the fixed IP address and websites. In any case the whole reason I had to get fibre fitted is that the mobile signal is almost unusable here despite what Vodafone say. The BT should have been providing a wireless backup is also blocked for the same reason, yet I am still paying Vodafone for 'unlimited bandwidth' airtime which they are not providing, but "have a contract until 2026!" I will be kicking them and BT once again about the lack of a service I am paying good money for. The good thing while I was off-line is the birth of a new server which I'll document as I configure it.
