The nice thing about working with a database is being able to fix things that have not quite worked right. Today's exercise was to get the protector package working fully again. It should allow me to write content that is private and I'm almost there. I can create pages like Index for private information which will take the casual viewer to the login page. I've almost got it working in that after a little tweek to the database the page is hidden. Now I just need to get it to automatically write the entry into the LIBERTY_CONTENT_ROLE_MAP flagging the role that is required to view that content. Fixing the one package actually emabled the services plugins for all packages, so that in addition to now being able to secure a page or blog post, I can change the owner and also manage a link to the boards package ... which I think has to be the next package to get functional. This will allow me to open up chats rather than my just talking to myself :)

Also today I tidied a few loose ends with the https certificates, the nginx configurations and one mail problem, but I still need to work out just why I get the message followed by a sorry unable to deliver! AT least I've stopped the daily one about the certificate that would not renew. I've move James's cotswold-security.uk site to the local server rather than forwarding to cotswoldsecuritygroup. Just need to actually put a page in place to go to.
