I am getting into a settled routine despite there being a number of external factors getting in the way. Waking up at 6:30 is settling down and doing my morning bits result in my having breakfast around 7. I've dropped the Rice Snaps as they are of little benefit, and while I still have a little Fruit and Fibre left, I have switched back to just Bran Flakes as I've been adding fresh Bananas anyway. Bananas are fun, but I get big ones but chop in half and seal the second half ready for the next day. This results in only 60 or so grams of fruit, so a little light, so I'm added Raisins to fill the gap which are included in the Fruit and Fibre. I could do with an alternative fruit and I'll have a go at that at some point, but breakfasts currently run at around 300kCal and have a good fibre content to start covering that.
After breakfast and tidying up, I spend I little time looking at the news and doing updates like this, prior to my physio session which I'm starting at around 10AM, and nowadays these take 20 or so minutes. I then have 90 minutes or so to do other things before getting out for my daily walk around town. I am thinking that I need to switch to 5 small meals a day, and today I've had a morning snack of a small piece of Mackerel which forms part of my weekly balanced diet. Having had snow this morning I was wondering if I would get out today, but that has all cleared up but still looks cold so perhaps time to get my hat and gloves back out. I'm managing a good 30 minutes brisk walking although I do slow down towards the end and I am debating on perhaps doing two 20 minutes sessions now that the days are getting longer so I get more time outside.
The evening routine is still a little messy, but aiming to be in bed before 10:30 even if that is finishing the chapter of the book I've been reading earlier in the evening. I've not been seeing much on daily TV that grabs my interest and while I have a large archive of material I can call on, switching to the music collection and a paper book is working for me. I'm working through the Pern Dragon's books once again, and having added a new book by Anne McCaffrey's daughter which was published in 2018 and three of the books that were produced by her son that I have not read, I'll leave them until I've finished the old set. A little bit of fun, I have all these books in paperback, but failed to notice that two of the recent books are actually hard-back copies. Not a problem, but take up a bit more space on the shelf.
Save screwed up again with a 'security violation', fortunately I remembered to take a copy before the attempt so nothing lost! Something else I need to get around to looking into. I think I am sure it's something to do with a timeout on the cookie that stores the code that protects the save, but for now as long as I take care when typing I can cope.
