Back to the messy heart beat ...

Well after 10 days of a clean sinus rhythm I'm back to the messy one and the watch is struggling with misinformation on my 'stress levels'. Perhaps the only thing that is stressing me is the way none of these 'Artificial Intelligence' tools have no intelligence at all. The main problem is that the Samsung tools have no idea of other reasons for a high HRV and try to fix a high one to what it has been 'trained on'. I'm still not experiencing any problem symptoms…

Making good progress but not without problems

After a number of false starts I now have a copy of the bitweaver code base which has a namespace setup that works for me, but is probably not 'right' for such services as composer. There is still some work to do and while 'traits' could have been useful, the idea of converting hundreds of possibly single line functions into classes just does not make sense to me. I've ended up with an extension for Smarty5 with all of the functions and modifiers managed through that but I…

I was begining to get flustrated as when I changed things everything stopped working again, but over the last few days which have been broken up with things like a visit to the GWR Festival of Steam on Saturday and a Dolls house show in Churchdown on Sunday. Obviously getting my mind off the software side was the right thing to be doing and this morning I took stock of where I am and things are looking good. The bitweaver framework is fairly stable, and I now have a copy of phpgedview running…

Been a while since I last posted, and while there are lots of things to rant about, the main problem is with my own head and getting around my own prejudices. I never did get into 'namespaces' when they were first introduced to PHP, and even today one of my main third party libraries, ADOdb, still does not have one set, but the other key library, smarty, does and this was causing a little difficulty. In Smarty5 everything has been converted to classes, although I do not see the advant…

Over the last year at least waking up with my heart in something close to a sinus rhythm was just an occasional rarity. However since Monday I have been seeing a stable 50ish bpm and the Smarty watch has had no problem taking a blood pressure reading. There are still the occasional glitches where a beat is missed, but not very often first thing. The watch app is complaining that I need to add4ress my HRV reading as it's 'not good', but I'll wait a couple more days until hopefu…

What a waste of a day! Yesterday morning I was already to crack on with digging into the remaining problems on the upgrade to the latest versions of the web stack components. Only problem, when adding some limitations to the eclipse 'build path' to reduce it's error list eclipse froze. At first I just thought it was due to the rebuild of the error database, but then it actually crashed. Because I was doing something new I failed to ask myself "What has changed?" and had…

Thirteen questions and a large amount of repeated dross, but I am getting things under control and more important Mistral is giving me consice 'context' sections to include in the next thread so as to maximize the responces. While I still take much with a pinch of salt, and MUCH of the details is slightly off target, it is good enough to get to the…

Well the new tax year is here, and while in the past my accountant would do the tax return on the 29th January next year, I don't have to wait for that now and the tax man is sitting on money I want back, so I need to do the accounts over the next week or so. The starting point of which is the paypal history file and the HSBC bank account statements. While in the past a full paypal dump would take a few hours, this one was available within 30 minutes. It's a pity that the HSBC account…

HIIT added to the mix

I am still having fun with waking up too early in the morning and am being told I need to 'relax more' which seems counter productive when I'm also told I need to get my heart rate up! The latest regime now includes a session of HIIT first thing in the morning, and splitting my 40 minute brisk walk into two higher intensity 20 minute walks. This makes sence and I added a second walk later yesterday which actually got my heart rate up into the 'Anaerobic' band, which I thin…

It's April and I've only 8 more days of physio on my knee. Only problem is after 3 and a bit months my knee seems stiffer and tighter than it was at the start. So much so that I've resorted to ibuprofen gel before I add my brisk walk to the mix. Only good thing is that today my heart is in a good mode and I've managed two blood pressure readings with the latest just 124/69 ... straight after my physio. Lets see how the rest of the day goes as I only managed one reading yesterd…
