History of Webstack - Monitoring1

As the servers are run text only, all of the background monitoring needs to via the command line. This causes problems at times but I am slowly getting my head around things and wrangling the base system to a stable state. I'm still having a little fun with protection settings, so the starting point is to simply confirm that everything is running on 'nginx' or 'firebird'

ps aux | grep -E "nginx|php-fpm|firebird"

And then a quick check on each of the services, php-fpm, nginx and firebird

systemctl status php-fpm

Next step of cause is reviewing the log files which I have now tidied to be in the one place. /var/logs/nginx/ with a separate sub-directory for each website.
