Not really into computer games

But there are a few that are attractive. In the past I had the classic rogue running on the VAX computer that powered the chip design service at Macro Marketing (just when did they stop trading?). This is very much a text based graphics game and at one point I did get down to quite a low level. Today there are a number of clones and crawl comes in the tumbleweed repositories, but I've not had a proper play with it yet.

Battle for Wesnoth is a graphical turn-based strategy game with a high fantasy theme. It does not have any of the money making wrappers of many of the other packages and Eric Raymond was a senior developer on early team which is where I found out about it. If I get stuck for something to do then it's second on the list of games to have a play with.

mah-jongg is one of the games I used to play quite a lot and is therapeutic and the KDE version is one of the few games I left installed on the development machine. KMahjongg has some nice graphics which also helps.
