Hobbies - 3D Stuff

Time to start listing the sites that provide useful material in relation to my modelling activities.

GrabCAD - Chargeable -;open and enterprise-ready software platform drives additive manufacturing at scale through connected solutions.
Cults3d - Cults is a digital marketplace for 3D printing and design. Use our 3D model library to discover everything you can do with a 3D printer (FDM, SLA, DLP, SLS) even with CNC machining and laser cutting.
Lego - It's often cheaper buying direct as there are some high markups on some reseller sites. Who does not like a Lego model ...
SpecialSTL - more smaller scale stuff for resin printers, but still some nice elements at reasonable prices. Some of the 'adult' material may be problematic just like modifying pictures to remove clothes!
Thingiverse - useful source of 3d models and some laser cut projects all free.
Gambody - collection of larger 3d models at higher prices, but processed for both extrusion and resin printing. Best time to buy is when a sale is on, but some of the larger models such as the detailed Millennium Falcon have several individually priced sets of parts to complete the whole model. I've stuck to the Space 1999 Eagle, Blake 7 Liberator, 2001's Discovery 1 and a full size K9 from Doctor who. That will keep me going for a while.
Reference sites ...
all3dp - filament types notes - and other useful information
Teaching Tech YT - backup documentation for his YouTube channel, but it has been a very useful base to tidy the operation of the X5SA 3D Printer
MERG 3D Group YouTube channel - More on the CAD side, but still useful model railway stuff. I am a member of MERG which supports the electronics side of railway modeling.

Lots more to go and I need to dovetail this in with the more extensive lists on MEDW ... links to follow ...
