Bitweaver Contact
Currently only active when I'm logged in, and only on the rainbowdigitalmedia website. I'll leave all of that historic contact information and start a new address book here on myhomecloud. Why don't I use one of the built in address books, such as in thunderbird or on the phone? Because neither of them yet work transparently between phone and desktop. Even the messaging app is isolated from some areas and that does not log my message traffic as I would prefer anyway. I also want to link in with the genealogy database which may personal address cards will link to.
Code repository github->lsces->contact but I need to link this with the local code base and commit the new changes.
The contact package had been designed for use with James's websites. It basically allows all the relevent details relating to a 'contact' such as a person or company, although it also handles the parallel objects of sites and other targets. In addition to the basic stuff like names, addresses, email and other contact details, it has an associated fisheye gallery of images relating to the object. It also manages a library of comments which are used for dated notes and other documentation such as post and email based material. In addition to current information, it also retains past historic changes. Most of our systems never had a 'delete' function, so that all history was always maintained. A requirement from the likes of the fraud teams in the benefit agency when we were supplying them with systems, and other monitors in relation to James's security company. A special addition to the security version is the tracking of key seals where key holding is tracked and any use of a key set recorded when access is enabled.
The tree of material that can be handled is managed in the database, and can be editied as required. Some values are restricted to a single live instance while others such as email address can have multiple vaules. Need to remember just how that all worked ... on lsces.uk ContactPackage
