Given the forcast of rain over the last few days which in the end was just a damp squib I spent a lot of time crawing through the code making global changes and a lot of the backgroud functions are now operational. The nice thing is that I can test all of the live sites on the development machine and debug via xdebug in VS Code. This is making checking just where the variables are actually located easier. The key is that bitweaver creates a content object and simply by using that object direc…

A lot has been happening over the last week and I have a lot more that I really need to document! The new server is up and running live and for anonymous users I think I've actually cracked everything although there may still be a few niggles. Did I really bid ...

Must have been having a bit of a brainstorm, but when this lot popped up on a search it looked interesting at the time. It was listed as "Large scratch built wooden galleon ship on stand, H 95cm x L 105cm" with only two images although there was probably enough to go on prior to the sale to gather some more information. It was obviously not scratch built, but was from a kit and it looked like a fairly modern one given what detail could be seen. I'…

Having had a nice day out yesterday, despite over 7 hours in the car (more in a rant), I sat down this morning to check a few facts. I was looking to check up a little more of my own time line, but first hit was my involvement with Firebird. I had been using it since the fort from Interbase, so when Mozilla tried to mussel in on the name I was quite vocal that it WOULD cause a conflict. I tried using Mistral to establish a few facts, but it quickly became obvious that facts are something that…
