SUSE flagged that PHP8.4.11 was part of the next update to Tumbleweed so I took a little more care updating the development machine. As expected it reset the temp directory to it's preferences and I had to flip back to get the new build running, but nothing else seems to be broken. Still some way to go as yet, but the anonymous display is working in the main on Phpgedview. The Ancestry Chart is not displaying properly which I think is a JavaScript Ajax problem and I've disabled the paper reports as that is an almost separate package which is reliant on a pdf library that also needs a fairly major re-write.

Trundled over to Hay on Wye on Sunday for the Vintage Fair. A few steam engines running, but only a couple of model ones. The traders stands were a lot more bric-a-brac than than other shows, although a few I recognised from previous ones. Submitted this years tax return back in early April and because of what has been happening the last few years there was a negative profit figure so I was due a refund on the PAYE tax I had paid in April 2023. The system said that 'if there is a refund due it may take up to 12 weeks to process', so don't chase before then, so 17 weeks should be save to try and find out what is going on. Having shared the flat for the last two days with a team of plumbers fixing the problem of poor hot water pressure, I've been out of sync a little with my normal exercise routine. The Samsung Watch is also confused and saying I need to go to bed at 18:00 to get my sleep pattern back in sync.
